Privacy Policy

We collect your assessment responses, calculated RIASEC scores, saved careers, comparisons, and the preferences you choose to set. If you create an account, we store your email address.

For guest use, results are stored only in your browser's local storage and are not sent to our servers unless you sign in.

To generate your personalized results, to save your progress across visits when you are signed in, and to produce aggregate, anonymized analytics about tool usage. We do not sell your assessment responses.

We do not disclose individual results to employers or third parties without your authorization. Aggregate analytics do not identify individuals.

You can delete your Career Compass data at any time from your dashboard. Account deletion is available through your account settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Data is protected in transit via encryption. Access to your personal records is enforced at the data layer so that only you (and authorized administrators) can read or modify them.

For the initial public release, Career Compass requires users to confirm they are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors under 18.
